As you can see this is a modern townhouse on a low maintenance easy-care site. These sort of houses as you probably know attract exactly the sort of tenants I'm looking for: young professionals who will reliably pay the rent on time each week. I purchased this property for 500k...a great deal as it was valued at $635 (don't you just love today's market!) The property has seven rooms and now generates $1,300 a week in rental income, if I had rented this property as a single tenancy I would only be receiving around $500 a week! And this is the exciting part - that means a pre-tax positive cashflow of approximately $10K a year. Could you get excited by these figures in today's market?
