The Mental Health Foundation received a donation of $5,154.30 from businesswoman Corinna Jones today.
Corinna is CEO of Richmastery, a New Zealand-wide company specialising in property investment training and mentoring, and the Presidential Inner Circle, an exclusive networking organisation for business people.
The donation to the Mental Health Foundation was raised though an appeal at a Richmastery seminar, an auction of a signed copy of a book at a Presidential Inner Circle event, and was topped up with a personal donation by Corinna.
Corinna Jones has personal experience of post natal depression, and speaks in support of campaigns managed by the Mental Health Foundation, designed to raise awareness of depression in New Zealand.
Judi Clements, Chief Executive of the Mental Health Foundation says: "We are delighted with this act of generosity. It boosts not only our work, but also our morale, when people who are prominent in their professions show this level of commitment to our cause.
"As a charitable organisation, we really do value companies like Corinna's, that contribute in this way."
